Kit includes cotton hemmed with lace edge doily with printed outlines, stranded cotton, needle and instructions. Original designs are from Daphne Wearne 1896-1985. (Born in Manilla NSW – lived in Sydney) ‘Mackie’ as she was called by her family and friends – was known for her beautiful oil paintings and water colours of Australian Wildflowers. These designs were originally submitted for china plates, but as she also loved needlework, it’s only fitting that they be adapted for traced linen. Intermediate level. Finished size 30cm round.
